HELLO PEEPS it is Portal’s birthday today so I am doing a Blue Sky sort of… thing.

I have erasers. REALLY NICE IWAKO ONES. I have an apple, a unicron, and a… doughnut. They don’t make bagels. BUT I SWEAR TO YOU, if you turn this bastard over, it looks as much like a bagel as you could want. Also they’re not all in one piece, so if you wanted you could probably find a way of removing the chocolate icing part without harming the doughnut/bagel part. But I’m going to leave that up to you, because I’m not licensed to perform eraser surgery.

Wheatley craned his neck on one side, trying to read the letters which, spray-painted and very slightly askew, ran up the side of the hoof he’d been leaning on. “EV…OLG… XOF.” He gave the letters a baffled blink. “Evolgxof?”- Blue Sky, chapter 6: The Tower (OOC: Another Blue Sky piece. I don’t think it turned out as good as the first, but…anywho yeah. I kind of thought that since he thought it said “Evolgxof”, the “f” was towards the bottom and the “e” at the top. I…could be wrong but that’s how I imagined it. This is probably horrible) I think whichever direction her name was written, Wheatley still would have gotten it wrong ;-)

petitfourthought: I painted a picture of Pizza-Soup’s Foxglove in my own big-eyed style!  Because reasons :) I love to paint big, wet, juicy, expressive eyes! lazy background of foxglove illustrations nabbed on google images Go get ‘em girl!  Gosh she looks so young and innocent here, I quite like the idea of her naivete about the world making her anthropomorphication a child :)

After a few false starts, he managed to pull his old body from the connector port. It was terribly small and fragile-looking from the outside, cold to the touch, still, empty. He held it in his new hands, this small broken thing that had carried him inside it over more years than he could remember, and felt an involuntary shiver pass through him, the mechanical equivalent of walking over your own grave. -Blue Sky, Chapter 3: The Ascent   (OOC: Sorry I Blue Skyed. And I will again for today’s part of the Wheatley challenge. I certainly did not spend all afternoon and evening collecting the songs to Marshwiggledyke’s Blue Sky Fan Mix.

That would be a preposterous suggestion.

I’ve been listening to just the first disc for awhile, myself.  I mean, the downloads for the second and third discs were taken down from Mediafire, and that’s a total bummer!

But I certainly did not spend my evening putting together a torrent as an alternative, either.  Because that would be wrong.

I know this has probably been pointed out before, but can we just take a moment to think about the fact that not only does the flower foxglove look like a communications tower, but the latin name is Digitalus Purpurea.

Digitalis, while toxic in large quantities, has also been given to people suffering arrhythmia and can be used to restart, or reboot, the heart ;-)
